Is a non-invasive
procedure used to look inside small animals to detect problems
and aid in diagnosis.
This procedure helps us determine the best route of care
and treatment for your
small animal — medically or surgically.
Ultrasound

Small Animal Surgery —
What to Expect
All surgeries take place
in the morning, which allows your pet to rest and recover
in the afternoon. You
will be called in the afternoon and given a status update
on how the surgery went,
how your pet is doing, and when you can pick up your pet.
If your animal is having
surgery that requires an overnight stay, such as spay, neuter,
and abdominal or
orthopedic surgery, we will call you after the procedure is done,
as well as make a
follow-up call to your home within 3 days after surgery.
Pre-anesthetic Blood
Testing Consent Form (PDF): If
your pet is scheduled for
anesthesia and surgery, we recommend a blood profile to ensure your pet is in a
low
risk category prior to anesthetic. Let us know if you accept or refuse the
recommended
pre-anesthetic blood work.
Download, print, and fill out the form prior
to arriving at
the clinic.
