Our Veterinarians

Dr.
Joel Mayberry joined the Chippewa Veterinary Clinic in 1993
after graduating from Iowa State University. He specializes in endoscopy
and small animal surgery and medicine. He’s married with two children.
Dr. Mayberry also takes care of the zoo animals at Irvine Park.
Dr.
Wayne Griffin graduated from Cornell University in 1980 and
joined the Chippewa Veterinary Clinic in 1983. He enjoys dairy reproduction
medicine, dairy records and analysis, and canine reproduction work. He
is married and has one son.
Dr.
Ryan Vander Top is a 2004 graduate of Iowa State University.
He is married and has two sons.
Dr.
Robert Klitzke is a 1974 graduate of the University of Minnesota.
He has been with the Chippewa Veterinary Clinic for 35 years. He
specializes in bovine medicine and surgery. He is married and has four
children and one granddaughter.
Dr.
Kristy Langhoff has been with the Chippewa Veterinary Clinic since
2007 and is a graduate of the University of Madison. She is married and
has one son.
Meet Our Staff

Nicole Engelbretson, Veterinary Assistant, is our newest staff
member. She always has a smile on her face and enjoys working
with animals.
Tracie Deling, Certified Veterinary Technician, is our rabbit
expert. She has English Springer Spaniels, and breeds and shows
Holland Lop Rabbits. She enjoys trapshooting on a league. Tracie
has been with the clinic since 1994. She is married with two children.
Kristy Mayer, “Jack of all trades”, has been with the clinic since
1998. Kristy is very active in FFA and is on the FFA Alumni Board.
Deb Buckli, Veterinary Assistant, is married and has two grown sons
and one grandson. She has a Golden Retriever “Marley” and has two
cats “Dot” and “Sassy”.
Rachel Prince, Certified Veterinary Technician, starts the day early
every morning and enjoys walking her two dogs “Eden” and “Baxter”.
Paula Young, Certified Veterinary Technician, is usually out and about
in the community when she’s not working. She specializes in small animal
dentistry. Paula also gives tours and speaks to area 4-H clubs, scout groups,
and high schools about veterinary medicine. She has been with the clinic
1980. She is married with two children. Her pets include two dogs, four cats,
three horses, 2 pot bellied pigs, and a bird. She is the president of the
Chippewa County Humane Association.

Julie
Dachel,
Receptionist, has been the “Clinic Cat Lover” throughout
the 30 years she has been with the clinic. She currently has six cats and
has found homes for more than 100 cats throughout the years. She also
loves horses and has a 2 year old Quarter Horse named Hocus Pocus.
Diane
Schindler,Receptionist, is famous for her ability to remember all
of our customers’ names. She always has a friendly face to welcome you.
Diane is married with three children and two grandchildren. She walks her
Golden Retriever daily.
Alisha Boettcher,
Receptionist, is married with one daughter and
one son. She has two dogs “Tucker” and “Koda”.
She likes to go camping with her family and loves to play volleyball
and softball in her spare time.
